This policy explains cancellation, premature termination, proportionate refund, duplicate payment, failed transaction, and payment-related matters for Quant Alpha research services.
Refunds will be handled fairly and proportionately.
Quant Alpha research services are provided for a defined subscription period. If services are terminated prematurely by the client or Quant Alpha, the client shall be eligible for a proportionate refund for the unexpired subscription period, subject to applicable SEBI regulations, client terms, tax treatment, and regulatory requirements.
This policy shall be read together with the client agreement, Most Important Terms and Conditions, risk disclosures, research report disclosures, and applicable SEBI Research Analyst requirements.
Refund treatment depends on
service period and termination.
The objective is to maintain a fair and transparent policy while complying with applicable securities market regulations and client terms.
Before Activation
If a client cancels before activation of research services and before any paid research access, report, communication, or service has been provided, the eligible fee amount may be refunded after verification and reconciliation.
After Activation
After activation, fees attributable to the period during which research services have already been provided shall not be refundable. However, in case of premature termination, the client shall be eligible for a proportionate refund for the unexpired subscription period.
No Breakage Fee
Quant Alpha shall not charge any breakage fee or penalty merely for premature termination of research services, unless specifically permitted under applicable law or regulatory requirements.

Cancelling a plan or
stopping future service.
Client Cancellation
A client may request cancellation or premature termination by writing to the official email address of Quant Alpha. The refund, wherever applicable, shall be calculated for the unexpired subscription period after verification.
Termination by Quant Alpha
Quant Alpha may discontinue or terminate services in accordance with applicable client terms, regulatory requirements, misuse of research content, non-compliance, unauthorised sharing, or other valid reasons.
No Automatic Renewal
Unless specifically communicated and agreed, plans will not be treated as automatically renewed. Renewal terms, if any, will be communicated through official channels.

Provide Details
Include name, email, payment date, transaction ID, plan name, and reason for request.
Verification
Quant Alpha will verify payment status, activation date, service period, and service delivery records.
Resolution
Eligible refunds will be processed to the original payment mode or registered bank account.
Refunds are not linked to
market returns.

Payment gateway, tax, and
statutory treatment.
Taxes and Charges
GST, taxes, payment gateway charges, banking charges, or statutory deductions, wherever applicable, shall be handled in accordance with applicable law, payment provider rules, and actual reconciliation at the time of refund processing.
Original Payment Mode
Eligible refunds will generally be processed to the original payment source or the client’s registered bank account, subject to verification and operational feasibility.
Research plans do not promise
profits or protection from loss.
No Assured Returns
Quant Alpha does not provide assured returns, guaranteed profits, fixed returns, capital protection, or risk-free investment outcomes.
Risk Acknowledgement
By subscribing to a research plan, the client acknowledges that investments in securities market are subject to market risks and that capital loss is possible.
